The Management of Ashburton Support Services will ensure each service user’s, staff member’s and volunteer’s right to privacy and confidentiality is respected and that she/he has access to personal information held by Ashburton Support Services. In line with legislation, our practices will meet the requirements of:

  • The Commonwealth Privacy Act 1998
  • The Victorian Information Privacy Act 2000
  • Victorian Health Records Act 2001

Ashburton Support Services will collect only the minimum, individual personal and health information that is necessary for delivering appropriate and efficient services to a service user or for purposes directly related to the service user’s needs for service.
All service users have the right to view personal files and to provide or amend information stored in those files. Service users have a right to say who will have access to their records and to refuse access to them by others at any time. No personal information or identifying documentation will be released without express permission from the service user except where required by law.

Your support can help to create a better life for people aged over 55 and for mature aged people with a disability who live in our local area. Your assistance will help our clients remain healthy, fit and involved in their community. It will also assist Ashburton Support Services in the purchase of much needed equipment to extend our range of services and activities. Please donate now.

    All donations are tax deductible.
